Family Advocates are individuals or family members of persons in recovery who have chosen to work with others living with behavioral health conditions. They offer support, hope, advocacy, and role modeling utilizing our unique strengths and perspectives gained through our own journeys in recovery. Parents whose children are enrolled in services can meet with family advocates for support or resources.

CLR offers supported employment services to children and parents. We partner with several community vocational services to help individuals find the right job for their skills, strengths and interests, and dreams. We recognize that, for many if not most people, quality of life and self-worth mean exercising one’s ability and the choice to be productive, to earn a paycheck, and to feel the joy of making a contribution.
We offer support with DVR, volunteering, employment, and education. Our supported employment services are available for anyone, regardless of insurance. We also provide supported internships for clients and our community partners. For more information, click here or call us today at 253-396-5014.
We have partnered with the City of Tacoma to bring mental health treatment to those who are underfunded. The Life Connections program offers free counseling to children and families regardless of funding or insurance. Each person gets 4-6 counseling sessions and access to housing, employment, and case management services. Come in during our walk-in hours for an assessment to get started.
